Why the top end doesn't run away
Multipliers are added together rather than multiplied out, and anything past ×3.5 is damped. Picking every premium option raises the price a lot — it does not compound into a number nobody would pay. Volume works the other way: 18% off at 12+, 12% off at 6+, 7% off at 3+.
